Orca is designed to evoke the image of a killer whale breaching the ocean’s surface, infusing traditional decorative finishing techniques in mechanical watch movements with a sense of playfulness and storytelling. The contrast between anglage (chamfering) and matte finishing outlines the silhouette of the orca, while Côtes de Genève (Geneva stripes) mimic the rolling waves. Perlage (circular graining) captures the essence of sea spray and foam. Within the framework of classic movement aesthetics and traditional finishing techniques, Orca preserves a spirit of childlike wonder and imagination.
